Thank goodness for the contributions of organized labor to our standard and quality of life! Something worth celebrating for sure!
New York State was the first state to introduce a bill to dedicate Labor Day (not the first state to pass one though). Labor Day commemorates the social and economic achievements of American workers and the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
March is honored to be endorsed by her friends in organized labor who work tirelessly on behalf of all to ensure good working conditions and pay for our workers.
Bring Transparency to County Vendor Payments!
March recently issued her first blog post on the transparency of Ulster County vendor payments. We have to do better and under her leadership we will.
Other local governments are providing better access to financial data than we do here in Ulster County. Please take a look at March’s ideas for better access to financial information here.
March was so pleased to receive the endorsement of the Ulster County Young Democrats. This is a vibrant, exciting group and we are so relieved to know that the future will be in their hands.
Tuthilltown Distillery Fundraiser: A Spirited Evening

Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan, Candidate for Ulster County Judge Bryan Rounds, Candidate for Ulster County Comptroller March Gallagher and Candidate for Ulster County District Attorney David Clegg.
County Legislative Chairwoman Tracy Bartels and County Executive Pat Ryan both joined us for a night out in their hometown of Gardiner. There must be something in the water in Gardiner!
