Read the full article[Ulster County Comptroller March Gallagher] said she is primarily concerned about the decision by the agency to authorize a contract of sale before getting an appraisal on the site and the lack of a justification by the agency to sell the property at a price that will likely be less than fair market value. Gallagher said she is also concerned that the board didn’t make available to her or the public any of the documents used to support the move, including a schedule of back taxes owed on the site and questioned whether the developer will be banned from both seeking grants and tax credits for cleanup of the site.
