“For the second year in a row, Ulster County revenues exceed budgeted projections resulting in a growing surplus and fund balance,” Gallagher said in a statement. “Ulster County policymakers should look to prepare for an uncertain future as we steward these funds going forward. Prudent investment can return even more to offset the costs to local taxpayers.”
